The New Jersey Clean Power Choice Program is the first statewide program that has different utility companies and various clean power markets working together  in a joint effort to make New Jersey a clean energy state. Sungate Energy Solutions is happy to see other states taking the initiative for a future of clean energy. The point of the program is to reduce energy usage, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and clean up and protect the environment. The choices for clean power at this time are based on the end goal being energy generated from clean, renewable energy sources that are right for the citizens of New Jersey. Solar power, wind power, small hydro power, and landfill gas power are some of the choices.

There are incentives being introduced to enhance the desire for the people of New Jersey to make the change to renewable energy.

Sungate Energy Solutions is happy to report that New Jersey has three incentive programs regarding assistance to its people to help them make the change to solar energy. There are rebates for installation provided by CORE Solar, REIP Solar and the SREC Registration Program. The rebate amounts from 2001 to the end of 2011 equal approximately three hundred and sixty two million dollars.
